“ I really loved this place. I went on November 27, 2024. It seems that they opened this new space recently by merging the deli and restaurant spaces. I have never been to either spaces before so I can't explain how it's changed. It's now two rooms. When you first walk in, it's a room with tables, access to the restrooms and a view of the kitchen (pics attached). The second room includes a full bar and some tables (pics attached). The servers were also in training but the service was great. We got there as soon as they opened at 3pm on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and it wasn't that busy yet but people were starting to flow in. The food was great. With their burgers, you can substitute with a beyond burger, grilled chicken, roasted turkey or a black bean patty. I got the "Sweet Baby Ray BBQ" burger and substituted grilled chicken. It included a jumbo fried onion ring, cheddar cheese and Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce served on toasted sour dough (pic attached). I got fries as my side. I really enjoyed this meal. My husband got the "Greek Grilled Chicken Salad (pic attached). It includes romaine, feta, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and red onions. He really enjoyed this. My mom got the grilled burger and substituted grilled chicken (pic attached). It includes cheddar cheese, crispy onions, lettuce and tomatoes. She got tomato basil soup as her side. She really enjoyed this as well. All in all, this was a great experience. Loved the ambiance and the food. Highly recommend. ”

“ Ordered takeout from Cafe io, this hits the spot when craving grilled cheese and tomato soup. They offer some flexibility in how you like to customize the grilled cheese- so many different combinations to try! Possibly an unpopular opinion, but I was glad it wasn't an extortionate amount of cheese like you may find at the Yard - to me, the balance of cheese and other toppings were just right. The tomato soup was delicious! Ordered 2 of these and the bill was around $32. For the quality, this was very reasonable and will be a regular dinner option for me moving forward. I don't think I would dine in though, the inside feels too cramped. ”
“ I'm going to give this 4 stars. The food is really good. I would describe it as elevated comfort food. My drink (butterfly gin) was delicious. My only negative comment is I thought the prices were a little steep. For two entrees, two drinks and one app it was $70 with tip. Maybe I've gotten used to cooking at home (sorry Yelp) but this felt s expensive to me. ”
“ We finally made our way over to Cafe io and I'm so happy we did. Everything was very fresh and perfectly done. I really wanted to try the sweet and spicy tofu and it was absolutely delicious. My Portobello sandwich had just the right amount of toppings and flavors. It's the perfect little place for a cute date night. ”
